SB 20 100 REPEAL THE DEATH PENALTY- Support this Legislation

Legislation to abolish the death penalty was introduced and passed in the Colorado Senate. Senators Julie Gonzalez (D-Denver) and Jack Tate (R-Centennial) and Representatives Adrienne Benavidez (D-Adams County) and Jeni Arndt (D-Ft. Collins) are the sponsors of this legislation.
We believe that all people have a natural right to life, because every human being is made in the image and likeness of God, who alone is Lord of life from its beginning until its end (cf. Genesis 1: 26-28).
Bishop Jorge Rodríguez, Ph. D. will be testifying in Support of SB 20 100.
The house committee hearing will take place Tuesday and if passed, it’s expected to be heard in the house and voted on later that week. Contact your State Representative and the members of the House Judiciary Committee Members and ask them to abolish the death penalty in Colorado.

Concerning the protection of human life beginning at conception. The bill prohibits terminating the life of an unborn child and makes a violation a class 1 felony. Contact your state Representative and the members of the Health & Insurance Committee Members and tell them to protect human life at conception.

Support the Ballot Initiative: To End Late Term Abortion in Colorado
HB 20 1098 Prohibition on Abortion After Twenty-Two Weeks was lost.
Given the uphill battle faced by the bill prohibiting abortion after 22 weeks, when most children can live outside the womb, pro-life advocates are working to place a similar measure before voters in November 2020.
